The main aim in College of Engineering is to support Southern area of Kaohsiung to be able to flow in with the present technologies and to develop into a city. Due to the global growth, Southern Kaohsiung has reached the bottleneck of development. The government also very keen in developing Kaohsiung in building multi-function industries, Taipei Rapid Transit System(TRTS) and Taiwan High Speed THSR, Science-based Industrial Park, Bio-Technologies. With the above developments in Kaohsiung, our aim is to bring in more jobs and be a high technologies city.
Students in engineering course in Southern Taiwan are in great demand, especially in property developments. The main aim in College of Engineering in Southern Kaohsiung is to create good studying environment and have outstanding students in various course. Our college is aiming to achieve the country structure, combining forces with the talents of the lectures and students to increase our funding for the students and having outstanding students and qualities. Also, our college is aiming to be a better branding, supervising student’s school work to ensure the graduates, being able to further their studies in different countries or being competitive in market after their graduations.
